Senior Software Engineer (React / Full-Stack)

## Location (MUST) * Remote / Vietnam (distributed team across Australia, Portugal, and Vietnam) ## Salary Expectation (MUST) * Competitive (negotiable based on experience) ## Requirements (MUST) * 5+ years of professional software development experience * Experience designing and building full-stack features end-to-end (UI through backend integration) * Backend development and API design (REST/gRPC) * Relational databases and data modelling * Cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and containerisation * CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices * Strong written/spoken English for distributed, async-first collaboration ## Skills ### Must Have (MUST) * React Strength track: React, TypeScript, modern build tools (Webpack, Babel), state management (TanStack or similar) * Full-Stack Generalist track: React / React Native plus work across Rails, Kotlin, and Golang services * Comfort working across multiple programming languages and stacks * Writing comprehensive tests within strong CI/CD practices * Applying AI tooling effectively in day-to-day engineering ### Ideally * User analytics and data transformation pipelines * Prior work in marketplace / consumer product environments * Experience migrating legacy systems to modern architecture patterns ### Responsibilities (REQUIRED) Own full-stack product features on the Product Engineering team across two related senior tracks (React Strength and Full-Stack Generalist). ### You’ll be responsible for * Designing and building full-stack features across the React/TypeScript (and React Native) frontend and Kotlin / Go / Rails backends * Implementing robust API integrations following BFF (Backend for Frontend) patterns * Building responsive, accessible user interfaces using the design system * Writing tests and contributing to CI/CD, observability, monitoring, and on-call * Mentoring teammates and raising engineering standards * Judging when a complex solution is warranted vs when a simpler one ships reliably ### You can bring * Strong product thinking and attention to craft * Ownership and autonomy in a distributed, async-first environment * A consistent focus on user experience and technical quality ### Why it would be awesome to work with us (REQUIRED) * Own features end-to-end on a real marketplace product, not slice-only tickets * Modern frontend plus a multi-language microservices ecosystem (Golang, Rails, Kotlin) * Distributed team across Australia, Portugal, and Vietnam * Culture that prefers the simplest solution that gets the job done ### Interesting Engineering Projects (REQUIRED) * Ongoing migration from legacy systems to modern architecture patterns * BFF-based API integration across a multi-language backend * Design-system-driven UI shared across web (and mobile for the Generalist track) ### Contact (MUST) * SMS / WhatsApp: 0583362116
