ABOUT WECARE WeCare Group is a fast-growing B2B distributor of industrial supplies in Vietnam. The company sells industrial hardware and consumables, including fasteners, welding materials, adhesives, packaging film, pipes and fittings, and metal hardware, from a catalog of thousands of SKUs to two customer groups: hardware shops across the country and manufacturing factories. It buys from suppliers, holds its own inventory, and delivers to downstream business customers nationwide. THE ROLE WeCare Group is Vietnam’s leading B2B industrial supplies distribution platform, processing over 100,000 orders/month across nationwide manufacturing and hardware retail channels. WeCare is rebuilding its core technology platform on Google Cloud Platform, with the goal of building a modern ERP ecosystem that connects our existing operational platform with sales, inventory, purchasing, logistics, finance, and other business functions. We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to help design and build this foundation from the ground up. This is a hands-on engineering role with significant ownership over backend architecture, APIs, databases, system integration, and the way data flows between our existing platform and future ERP systems. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate real operational requirements into reliable backend services and scalable system architecture. You will also help establish the technical foundations that enable our future data and analytics platform. Your role & responsibilities Backend Architecture & Development Design and build scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend services for WeCare's core business systems. Collaborate with frontend developers, devops engineer, ensuring seamless integration between systems. Leverage AI tools and technologies to optimize development workflows and improve engineering productivity. System Integration & ERP Foundation Design reliable integration patterns between WeCare's existing platform, backend services, future ERP modules, and other business systems. Contribute to the technical architecture and evolution of WeCare's future ERP ecosystem. Database Architect and maintain database solutions that meet performance and reliability requirements. Your skills & qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, Data Engineering, Applied Mathematics or relevant. 5+ years of Backend engineering experience. Strong production experience with at least one modern backend language such as Go, Java/Kotlin, TypeScript/Node.js, or Python. Proven experience in migrating legacy systems to modern architectures, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity throughout the transition. Strong understanding of system design, including scalability, reliability, maintainability, fault tolerance, and architectural trade-offs. Strong experience designing and building RESTful APIs and backend services. Solid knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, including SQL, schema design, indexing, transactions, concurrency, migrations, and query optimization. Experience designing or working with asynchronous processing, message queues, event-driven systems, or distributed systems. Strong business understanding, problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup. Professional English communication skills, with the ability to discuss technical designs, trade-offs, requirements, and documentation. NICE TO HAVE Experience with GCP services. Experience using AI-assisted development tools while maintaining strong practices around code review, testing, and verification. Experience in e-commerce, B2B platforms, logistics, supply chain, inventory, procurement, finance, or other business management systems.
