About the role
We are looking for a full-stack developer with experience in both Frontend and Backend (Front end focus) to join our software product development team. You will work in a flexible, fully remote environment with a young and dynamic team.
Project Description: You will work on AI-driven knowledge discovery systems that explore, search, and synthesize information from structured and unstructured data across millions of websites.
We build:

• Senior engineers at Cazoodle, Hanoi
• Senior graduate students at UIUC
Work Arrangement: 1 day per week in office
Your role & responsibilities
Develop new frontend features and continuously improve the existing frontend architecture, including reusable components, state management, code quality, code review practices, and frontend testing.
Design and implement UI/UX for SaaS Products including Research Officers Working tools, Research Intelligence.
Build responsive, accessible, and performant interfaces across desktop and mobile, including SEO-friendly rendering for content-heavy pages.
Develop and maintain backend APIs in Python (e.g., FastAPI/Django/Flask) that serve the frontend, and integrate them with AI services and databases (PostgreSQL).
Collaborate closely with AI engineers, product reviewers, and stakeholders to turn feature ideas and bug reports into polished, production-ready user experiences.
Proactively research current advancements in technology and AI, and suggest/recommend useful features that can be applied to our products.
Your skills & qualifications
From 2+ years of experience in fullstack or frontend development (junior–mid level).
Good communication skills in English.
Deep knowledge of modern frontend development.
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and a modern framework (React/Vite/Next.js or similar).
Solid understanding of HTML/CSS, responsive design, component-based architecture, and state management.
Ability to structure and refactor a frontend codebase for long-term maintainability, not just make it work.
Strong sense of UI/UX design: layout, typography, spacing, interaction patterns, and the ability to design or refine interfaces from rough requirements (experience with Figma or similar tools is preferred).
Working knowledge of Python backend development: building REST APIs, working with relational databases (PostgreSQL), and authentication flows (e.g., OAuth/Google Sign-in, passwordless login).
Experience with frontend testing, debugging, and performance optimization; understanding of web SEO and web standards fundamentals is a plus.
